Google Maps or GPS will guide you directly to Watermill Cottage Campground.

If you are travelling from Devonport, your GPS may direct you via the C740/C741 from the north. While this route is accessible to larger vehicles, it can be challenging, particularly in poor weather.

For caravaners, motorhomes and larger vehicles, we recommend approaching via Frankford or Glengarry for an easier journey.

Yes. All campers must be fully self-contained, with their own onboard toilet and shower, as well as the ability to collect and store grey water.

There are no toilet or shower facilities available at the campground.

Usually, no! We generally have plenty of space for campers.

December through February can be busy, so during the summer period we recommend booking in advance or giving us a call before you arrive to make sure we have space available.

Camping is $10 per night, per vehicle (up to 6 guests)

We accept cash, PayID, online credit or debit card payments, or you can pay by card when you arrive.

Rather than booking a specific numbered site, you’ll book an area of the campground and choose your own spot within that area when you arrive.

This gives you the flexibility to find a spot that best suits your setup while keeping the relaxed, open feel of the campground.

There are no powered sites or drinking water connections available, so guests should arrive with sufficient drinking water and power for their stay.

Devices can be charged in the gazebo, and non-potable water is available from the tap at the pump near the gazebo. Please note that this water is NOT suitable for drinking.

There is a public potable water tap at Beauty Point, on the side of the pavilion on the Esplanade, roughly 10 minutes from the campground.

Yes! Dogs are welcome at Watermill Cottage Campground.

We ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times and that owners clean up after their pets.

Yes! Campfires are welcome, provided they are in a raised fire pit at least 40cm off the ground.

Fires must be used responsibly and are not permitted during Total Fire Bans or when fire restrictions prohibit them.

Please dispose of ashes in the allocated area (bottom corner, near the landscaping business)

Absolutely! Families are very welcome at Watermill Cottage Campground. While we don’t have specific children’s facilities or a playground, there’s plenty of open spaces to enjoy and explore together.

Yes. Generators are permitted between 10am and 2pm only, so everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet of the campground outside these hours.

The nearest public dump point is at the Beaconsfield Showgrounds on Grubb Street, approximately 10 minutes from the campground.

The dump point is free to use and suitable for larger vehicles. Please note that potable water is not available at the dump point.
